In the process of reading this material, I disagree with the author’s viewpoint on learning theories . The article overemphasizes the sources of learning theories research and experimental evidence teaching strategies and techniques. Although learning theory and research are important components of teaching, they are closely related to instructional design. However, we should understand that from the perspective of instructional design, behaviorism based on learning theory is more important. Only by actively taking action based on theory can we gain richer experience and create more value.

In the process of learning, we must truly understand the value and significance of learning, and overcome various difficulties and challenges encountered in learning based on learning theories. In one of my teaching exercises, I encountered a very mischievous student who really disliked things related to learning. In order to help this child overcome his learning challenges, I mainly adopted a behaviorism teaching strategy at that time. Firstly, I conducted a comprehensive observation of this student and carefully analyzed his behavior, adopting reasonable methods for measurement. Secondly, through my testing, I found that this student has more difficulty concentrating during class than other students, and it is difficult to concentrate during the learning process. Thirdly, based on the characteristics of this student, I further evaluated where my teaching should start. At this point, I think I should teach the student relevant knowledge that meets their standards, help them set learning goals and tasks, and build a good foundation for learning. Fourthly, in the face of more complex behaviors generated by students during the learning process, I will further adjust my teaching order to help students gradually understand the problem. Firstly, I will set up a reward mechanism to give students some positive feedback, increase their confidence in learning, and overcome the challenges in learning.
